Conservative Media Hypocrisy and Nancy Grace

The buzz is that this woman who's kid went missing, shot herself after being grilled by Nancy Grace about whether she was the killer of her own child. The story is here.

Highly possible.

I've spoken before about Nancy Grace. ("Your Objection is Overruled") who I think does nothing more than irresponsibly play into the mob mentality of Americans who think the criminal justice system should operate without defense lawyers, and without a constitution.

But honestly, I'm not ready to blame her for this woman's suicide. Maybe after the interview the woman came to terms with the fact that she killed her kid. I don't know, and either does anyone else. The only two people who know are her, and her kid, and they're both dead.

My interest in this story is with the conservative media pundits who jumped on the "how dare she" bandwagon last night. Even Joe Scarborough, whom I happen to like, was talking about the story with the phrase "Nancy Disgrace?" on the screen.

What's the deal? Is even the conservative right tired of her espousing hate for the criminal justice system? I thought you guys all quietly loved her.

"came to terms that she killed her child"????? What the heck are you talking about? As I mentioned from the first day of the reported suicide, Melinda likely gave her child to someone she altready knew for "safe-keeping." Melinda knew hundreds, if not thousands of people, she could have arranged that with. The charge against Nancy has already been filed, and will likely suceed with a Judgement against Nancy. She (Nancy) actually needs some time in prison for her wrongful actions against victims. If you eliminate the accusatory-interview that Nancy had with Melinda, then Melinda would likely be alive today. CHA-CHING for the grandparents! Go get her!

On Friday Dec 8th, Nancy Grace was a guest on the Glen Beck show where she tried to come across as being “confident” regarding the Duckett lawsuit against her. But, Nancy only came across as someone in great fear of the likely upcoming outcome of that case. Sorry Nancy, don’t forget to bring your check-book with you to court. You are going to have to pay huge bucks on this case. Perhaps, Nancy, it may be cheaper for you just to not victimize the victims. It would also save lives if you did that Nancy.

She tries people in the court of public opinion, as jury and judge. She wears opulent jewelry that would make the Queen of England blush to wear. And if Nancy Grace is indicative of the judicial system, no wonder justice has fled in America, and there is no justice any more. Anyone that would watch her, has no brains, if you ask me.

Just another Puritan relying on hate and fear to maintain her name and fame.
